In a realm of somber hues and unending sorrows, there was a woman named Seraphina, who wore her burdens like a cloak, woven from the dark threads of her struggles and despairs.

Her days were etched with the harsh lines of hardship, and the nights whispered to her of escape, of transformation into something far removed from human suffering. At night among the wilted blooms of her garden, Seraphina's heart ached for release, for a metamorphosis that would unbind her soul from the shackles of her dreary existence.

Under the silver eye of the moon, amidst the chorus of the night's creatures, Seraphina's plea to the universe was finally answered. Her body dissolved into a thousand whispers of shadow and light, reassembling into the delicate form of a butterfly, black as the void between stars, with wings that shimmered with an ethereal, eerie beauty.

In this new form—the Butterfly of the Night—she found an unexpected freedom. Her wings carried her above the pain that had tethered her to the earth, through realms of color and light she had never imagined. With each beat of her wings, she felt lighter, not just in body but in spirit, as if each flutter dispelled a portion of the darkness that had once consumed her.

In her new form, Seraphina found her purpose not in the end of things, but in the protection and guidance of the living. She fluttered silently around those who suffered, her presence a gentle reassurance, a whisper of mortality tempered with the promise of beauty and continuity.

Her wings became symbols of hope to those who caught glimpses of her in their darkest moments—a reminder that even in endings, there is a chance for renewal and protection. In her transformation, Seraphina discovered not just escape, but a profound connection to the world she once longed to leave, becoming its most unlikely and poetic protector.

"Seraphina, Butterfly of the Night," is 13” x 10” inches and has an attached chain. The head is made of a silver sheen obsidian butterfly skull and the small butterflies each have a small obsidian inset stone.
