It’s easy to feel that we’re separate from the world around us. Our current culture conditions us to have a sense of individualism and entitlement. However, the purpose of the spiritual path is to remind us that we are one with others and are all connected.

“Om So Hum.” is an ancient mantra with a universal purpose. It means, “I am That,” identifying ourselves with the ultimate reality. When we meditate on this meaning, we remember that they are all a part of an infinite source and can start to break down some of the boundaries between us. 

You can use this feather to help you remind you that you are one with everything. Whenever it catches your eye, take a moment to repeat the “Om So Hum,” mantra, or “I am the universe, I am part of it, I am connected to Infinite Source.” Over time this practice will help you remember that you are connected with everything around you.
